Our Purpose
Life Nav is a Melbourne based organisation owned and run by qualified social workers. We understand that it does not take much for a person to feel lost and disorientated. An untimely injury or missed team selection may appear to shatter a sporting dream. Similarly, an illness or traumatic experience may make the everyday seem insurmountable or unattainable. Our Navigators are qualified counsellors ready, willing and able to help. Whether it is rerouting around closed roads to find the road less travelled or reorientating towards a new destination. We get people back on track. Most importantly we will do it in a way that helps them enjoy life’s journey – because we believe that in life the journey is more important than the destination.

“To Provide young people with facilitated support through circumstances known to challenge mental health, through the provision of services that assist in identification, prevention and early intervention of mental health challenges including facilitating social support for young people from those they trust”.

“For Life Nav to be the partner of choice for organisations that are responsible for managing circumstances known to challenge mental health, including but not limited to employers, healthcare, education and sports organisations and by doing so make a measurable reduction in the number and severity of young people that require ongoing support for mental health issues initiated during these known periods of challenge.”
